Creative and video work
Video has been part of my work for years.
Video is how marketing gets understood. More than that, it is how a brand humanizes itself, builds and drives awareness, and tells its story. I have pushed for it in every role. The work is below, and the reasons are at the end.
The reel
Creative producer highlights.
Highlights from the media I have created, in one compilation.

1 · Brand films
Films that give a brand a point of view.
I helped produce these, including casting the actors and getting them shot and out as social-first brand content.
2 · A brand built from scratch
Ali'i Fish Co.: launching a Hawai'i seafood brand from the ground up.
The film is one piece of it. I built the brand, the website and the product imagery, and made the case for fresh fish, a gap most restaurants at the time never spoke about.

Brand identity
Built the logo, the fonts and the color palette, plus an illustration set.
Website
Developed the website that launched the brand.
Product photography
Shot and shipped the product photography for the site and social.
Launch
Took the brand from nothing to market, from name and look to first customers.
Fresh versus frozen
Explained the difference between frozen fish, treated fish and truly fresh fish. At the time, most restaurants did not talk about it.
Ocean to table
It was literally ocean to table: one of the business partners was a fish auctioneer in Hawai'i.
3 · Spots that aired
Ads that ran on TV and in paid social.
I helped produce and led these. Results are not claimed here.

Working with a team at the scale of the Property Brothers meant keeping scripts on message, shipping photo-shoot assets on time, and landing the work in their magazine, on their landing pages, on their site and across their social channels.
4 · Event and partnership stories
Stories that explain how a partnership came to life.

A conversation in a festival office turned into a two-hour planning session, then an artist-lounge activation that tied back to the brand's identity. This is the story of how it came together, told by the people who were there.
5 · Reels built for phones
Vertical video for social and paid.
Creator-style spots shot for 9:16 feeds, from three brands. I led the influencer and UGC programs. Results are not claimed here.

Short-form that earns reach
Social video and podcast clips for the ManKind Project.
From zero, no ad budget
HAWOCC Instagram video in the last 30 days, 60% from non-followers.
Why I keep pushing video
It humanizes the brand
People trust faces and voices before they trust logos. The testimonial and mentorship videos let customers, partners and students speak for themselves, so the brand is seen through people.
It builds awareness
Short, native video travels where ads cannot. The ManKind Project social video and podcast clips reached 38.4M views, and HAWOCC reaches new people on Instagram with no ad budget.
It drives action
From the My Magic Carpet spots that aired on TV and in paid social to creator-style UGC for apparel and canvas brands, video gave each campaign a clear job: get noticed, then get chosen.
It tells the story
A product is easier to buy when its story is easy to follow. A Hawai'i seafood launch needed the story of ocean to table. A festival activation needed the story of how a partnership came together. Video carried both.
How it has evolved. When I started pushing video, a film took a crew, a budget and weeks. Phones, short-form platforms and now AI tools have made it faster and more affordable to shoot, cut, caption and version for every channel. That makes the story and the person on camera matter more, not less. Anyone can make a video now. Fewer teams can make people feel something, and that is the part I will keep owning as the tools keep changing.
What the data says
of the top ROI-driving content formats, according to marketers, are video: short-form video (49%), long-form video (29%) and live-streaming video (25%).
of marketers say video is an important part of their marketing strategy.
